The Garden of Eden Still Exists !

What about all these people who have claimed to have the answers to happiness. They talk about getting in touch with your inner self, or some obscure "force" in the universe that acts upon us to make everything OK if we just think positively, or if we simply change our perspective on things.

What about Budda, or Muhammad, or the Dalai Lama or any spiritual leader that has a philosophy for obtaining peace and oneness with the creator, with nature or the universe ?    These people are successful in achieving their desired results and they have large followings of people that swear by their doctrine and these people can actually achieve a level of divine status in the minds of many many people.

Is there anything to these beliefs and philosophies ?

Are they worth exploring ?

Should you give them a try and perhaps ...... change religions ?

Perhaps Not.

These people are only experiencing what God has created for all of us.
You see ......  I believe that the Garden of Eden still exists.   In fact, the world we live in .........
Is the Garden of Eden!   It is just that generations and generations of sin and the ways of man have obscured the Garden of Eden in everyone's mind.    God provided a wonderful world for all of us to live, but we refuse to accept it as God Created it.   These philosophers and spiritual leaders and motivational speakers have discovered ways to cut through all of the bad thinking and perspectives and detrimental ways that prevent all of us from experiencing this world and our lives as God intended us to.   We are living in the Garden of Eden and we can't even realize it.  "Spiritual" leaders have uncovered ways to view and appreciate what God wants for all of us.    Unfortunately, the "spiritual" leaders think that they have created or discovered this way of thinking or living and that the results are just the result of some cosmic force or the power of the universe.  You see.... God does not require us to acknowledge that He created the world in order for us to benefit from it.    It is also a tragedy to uncover the hidden Garden of Eden amoung us, and to not acknowledge that God Created It!   If we acknowledge God and receive Him into our heart as our Lord and Savior, He offers us the Garden of Eden for all of eternity, including RIGHT NOW!

The spiritual leaders and motivational speakers of our day have only stumbled upon small pieces of Heaven on earth, created by God for all of us.   Yet they absolutely refuse to believe in God.  They are like children explaining how an automobile is made.   They spew out generalities and platitudes and all encompasing proclamations that sound all gooshy and goody tooshy and then have the audacity to claim that they have discovered something.    Any child can tell you how to make a car and that child will be convinced that they can make the car if only they were allowed to stay up later.   Spiritual leaders talk about the energy and foolishly tell you how the UNIVERSE works.   They do this and they have never left this one itty bitty planet.

We also need to be wary of any "spiritual" leader that uses techniques requiring us to "clear our minds".  A blank mind is a dangerous thing to have.   God gave us a powerful mind and we should always be using it and should always be discerning, on guard, and constantly seeking God, God's wisdom, God's guidance and God's Love.    The Bible warns us about pursuing unfarmiliar spirits.   We should only seek the Holy Spirit.   Anyone who tells you to clear your mind, is setting you up for demonic activity!   God wants us to rely on Him and to trust Him to take care of us.  When we do this, we have the inner peace that God intends for us.   We do not need to clear our minds and go through some hocus pocus knee bending ritual.   Nor to we need to analyze our feelings or regiment our thoughts.   We simply need to seek God and rely on Him.

for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that who so ever receiveth Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.   John 3:16

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.   Matthew 11:28
